When you wish to convert a provisional title to a property to absolute title, and the 12 year period for challenge has elapsed (which is now applicable to all cases). Provisional title was granted during the 1970's adjudication process where clear title to a property could not be established, allowing a 12-year period for any challenge to occur. After 12 years elapses, the provisional owner may apply to convert the title. Submission Requirements
